Holistic Healing for Mind & Body

Meet Thomas and Staci Gregson

Choosing someone to help with your health is personal. You want to feel comfortable asking questions and know that someone will take time to listen.

At Holistic Massage & Chiropractic, Dr. Thomas Gregson provides chiropractic and holistic care, while Staci Gregson, LMT, offers massage therapy. Together, we bring different skills and a shared commitment to understanding your concerns and helping you consider your options.

Here's a little about us and what brought us to this work.

Dr. Thomas Gregson, DC

Chiropractic and Holistic Care

After more than 24 years in chiropractic practice, I still find myself wanting to learn more. I've always been curious about how the body works, particularly the relationships among the nervous system, nutrition, and everyday health. That curiosity continues to shape the chiropractic and holistic care I offer.

I earned my bachelor's degree at Rowan University, where I studied molecular genetics and biochemistry. At one point, I considered a career in forensic science. A conversation with a chiropractor I had known since childhood, Dr. Ricci, helped me see another possibility. We shared an interest in nutrition, and he encouraged me to consider chiropractic school.

That decision took me to Bridgeport, Connecticut, where I met Dr. George Muhs, a teacher and mentor who had a lasting influence on me. He welcomed my questions, shared his extensive library, and gave me opportunities to assist with continuing education for practicing clinicians. Those experiences deepened my interest in neurology and the role of nutrition in health.

Over the years, I've continued studying through coursework in neurology, applied kinesiology, and nutrition. In practice, I want to understand what has brough you in, hear your concerns, and help you make sense of the options available to you. My holistic approach also considers your health history and daily habits as part of that conversation.

My work eventually brough me to Northern Maine. Today, I work alongside my wife, Staci, a licensed massage therapist. Sharing this practice with her has brought a great deal of maning to my work.

My Christian faith is central to my life and my desire to serve others with compassion. Away from the office, I enjoy the woods, classical jazz, and reading. There's usually another book or research paper waiting for me, and I'm still an Eagles fan.

Staci Gregson, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist

I came to massage therapy in my forties, after years of working in different fields and figuring out where I wanted to put my energy. Those experiences taught me patience, compassion, and a great deal about people. They also helped me recognize how much I wanted to work in a field where I could care for others directly.

My interest in anatomy and the connection between the mind and body led me to the Therapeutic Bodywork Learning Center in Brewer, Maine. That education gave me a foundation I've continued to build on through six years of practice and additional training.

I care about how you're doing as a whole. What's bothering you, the stress you carry, and what you hope to get from your visit all matter. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and telling me what feels right for you.

Working alongside my husband, Dr. Thomas Gregson, has been on of the most rewarding parts of this work. We bring different skills to the practice and share a commitment to thoughtful, personal care. As I continue learning and developing my approach, that commitment stays at the center of what I do.
